#GivingTuesday – Celebrate Giving this Holiday with the Center of Hope

centerofhoOn December 3rd, 2013, the Barbara Olson Center of Hope will be looking to achieve a big goal – a goal that will help the disabled people of Rockford make a better life for themselves. For the second year in a row this “nationwide call to action celebrates giving and encourages more, better and smarter giving during the Holiday season”.

Taking place during the biggest shopping season of the year, #GivingTuesday is a smarter way to give back this holiday season. Leading up to December 3rd, all community members are strongly encouraged to join in on this campaign of giving back: you can be a social media ambassador! Grow the #GivingTuesday movement by sharing the goals for this campaign, sharing the Center of Hope Facebook page, and helping the organization’s mission move forward of serving those in the Rock River Valley with developmental disabilities.

On the last 3 Thursdays of November, a video will be released highlighting unique individuals and their stories who are involved with the Center of Hope in some way.

The big day is December 3rd, where ALL online donations on #GivingTuesday will be matched by the Coleman Foundation up to $20,000! Please help the Barbara Olson Center of Hope meet this outstanding goal by participating in the online donations on December 3rd! Until then, share the information with your friends and family so that more in the community can give back this holiday season while making a great impact!

On December 3rd, make your online donation here: http://www.b-olsoncenterofhope.org/
