“Through non-partisan digital and social media, Reboot Illinois intends to engage citizens giving them the information and tools they need to act on improving the jobs climate, schools, taxes, and state debt.” – Reboot Illinois ‘About’ Page

Reboot Illinois focuses on areas of the state that needs the most improvement: schools, state finances, the job market, and government accountability.

Anthony Knierim, Director of Digital Strategy at Reboot Illinois, contacted The Rockford Blog because Reboot Illinois wants citizens in the Rockford community to come out for their event tomorrow February 12th, 2013 at the East branch of the Rockford Public Library. Here, you will be able to provide them much needed information on how you would improve the state of Illinois, which would directly affect our own city of Rockford. Areas of focus would include education, and how we may be able to regain strength in the government so that we can come out of a large state debt and solve other issues such as a pension crisis and the lack of a stable job market.

Sign up for the event here and be sure to ‘Like’ their Facebook page for future updates and follow on Twitter.
